From one of the most vigorous vines on our property, big flavors of peaches, honey, and sour apple. Sweet and lightly effervescent, we are one of the only wineries to make Moscato in the state!
Crooked and Weedy $15.50
Named for the train that ran through the Bluestone Vineyard property in the early 1900’s, this wine is a sweet red blend that works well with grilled and spicy foods.
2013 Estate Grown Blue Ice $25.50
Blue ice wine is made from frozen Traminette grapes. This very sweet juice is stopped mid fermentation to produce a wine that reminds one of Germany’s famous “Eiswein”.

2014 Steep Face $22.50
Grown on one of the steepest vineyard slopes in the Commonwealth, this 100% Chambourcin blend is inky, dry and fruit forward. The nose carries licorice, leather and dried fruit through a finish of capsicum, hazelnut and nutmeg.
2011 Petit Verdot $29.50
Grown in Rockingham County, this wine was put away for the last year to mellow. When Bluestone had a private lunch with Food and Wine Magazine at Monticello, this is the wine we showed up with. Black fruit, cedar, and rose on the front, with toast, white pepper and vanilla on the palate.
2012 Houndstooth $29.50
56% Merlot, 28%Cabernet Franc, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, this Bordeaux blend has a structure that is inspired by the Right Bank and could cellar for several more years. Spice of close and toast balance the sweetness of coconut and butterscotch.

2010 Meritage $34.50
Equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot with 50% new French oak from the famous 2010 vintage. Smokey, leathery, and aging well, the approach is sweet and juicy, and the end is dry, slightly chewy and lasts.

A port style wine made from 100% Norton grapes and fermented completely dry, Fortified to 18% alcohol and stored in whiskey barrels for 2 years.
