2020 Toast the Weekend
CANCELLED
A note from Winemaker, Lee Hartman
Live music is as central to who I am as a person as wine is. Ever since I went to my first concert when I was 16 I knew this was something that was going to be a big part of my life. And after a few years of planting grapes and making wine with my family, we brought live music to the vineyard as a way to get people to come see the farm.
This year has been impossible to organize around. As news, rules, procedures, and guidelines change everyday we have to reinvent how we do business on a near weekly basis. Unfortunately, that means not hosting our 2020 Toast the Weekend concert series. We did not make this decision lightly and talked to the bands, the food trucks, our attorneys and other wineries, to come to this conclusion. Right now, the safety and health of our guests and team is our highest priority and we feel hosting a Toast the Weekend was not in anyone’s best interest.
But that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to have an awesome summer at Bluestone! We have plenty of smaller events, new wines and even some music being planned for the next few weeks.
